Cryptocurrency is gaining wider adoption every day. As such, more people want the purchase of Bitcoin and other coins to be as easy as buying groceries.
In achieving this, Circle K has partnered with Bitcoin Depot to make Bitcoin ATMs available in their convenience stores. Thus being the first convenience store to implement this.
Both companies made this announcement some days back. Already, there are more than 700 Bitcoin ATMs in 30 states. This will serve the Circle K customers in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Bitcoin Depot is an Atlanta-based company that provides Bitcoin Automated Teller Machines. On the other hand, Circle K is quite a popular convenience store with over 14,200 stores in 26 countries.
The aim of this partnership is to make the purchase of Bitcoin and other coins easy for people. To use these Bitcoin ATMs, all an individual needs to do is to provide his wallet and insert cash. Within the next two minutes, he will receive the cryptocurrency in his wallet.
When he was interviewed, Denny Tewell who is the Senior Vice President Global Merchandise and Procurement at Circle K enthused: “we are passionate about making our customers’ lives a little easier every day, and we are continually looking at ways to enhance their experience in our stores.”
On the other hand, Brandon Mintz, the CEO of Bitcoin Depot said this in an announcement with PR Newswire: “Circle K understands that cryptocurrency will be a growing part of the future economy and payments landscape.
