A blockchain and relational dabatase for developers and end-users
Chromia is developing a blockchain platform to solve the scalability problem for decentralized applications. Chromia’s platform consists of a network of nodes forming a blockchain. Each one of these nodes has its own relational database. Chromia’s sub-nodes runs a Byzantine Fault Tolerance consensus algorithm. Furthermore, they anchor each transaction history to another blockchain like Bitcoin and Ethereum to strengthen the finality of each block.
Chromia releases its own token called CHR. This token can be used within decentralized applications and in turn, those applications will pay transaction fees with CHR token. Various dApps has been implemented on Chromia, from gaming to finance. Further expansion of the network also covers dApps for supply chain, enterprise services, and IoT.
