Edgeware is a project backed by Commonwealth Labs that focus on providing a self-improving smart contract blockchain solution. The platform is claimed to be a high-performance, self-upgrading WASM smart contract platform that runs on the Polkadot ecosystem. With the platform, users can execute various activities such as voting, asset delegation, fund each other to upgrade the network, and more.
Commonwealth Labs itself is a company that focuses on building a multi-chain interface for decentralized governance. Some of their key members are Dillon Chen (investor at Turing Capital), Raymond Zhong, Michael Karnjanaprakorn (Founder of Skillshare), and Ryan Zurrer. The Edgeware project is launched in 2019 with headquarter located in San Francisco, United States.
