SKALE Network or SKALE Labs is a blockchain company that focuses on providing scalability solutions that provide high-speed consensus and empowers dApps to run smart contracts. The core product, SKALe, acts as a middleware layer that allows users, developers, and the network to run smart contracts at the rate of millions per second on platforms such as Ethereum, EOS, and other blockchains. It claims to be a fully decentralized, open-source P2P network powered by its SKALE utility token.
SKALE was co-founded by Jack O’Holleran and Konstantin Kladko in January 2018. The company did an ICO and raise around $22M, with key investors including but not limited to ConsenSys Ventures, Arrington XRP Capital, Blockchange Ventures, and more.
