The first DeFi protocol unlocking liquidity of staked assets
Stafi protocol is a decentralized protocol that aims to solve the problem of locking your asset for staking services. They allow users to liquidate their staked assets through other tokens that represent their staked assets. Simply put, Stafi Protocol aims to solve the problem with the current staking landscape, where users need to wait for weeks before they can liquidate their assets, which makes their position risky when there’s a sudden price movement.
With Stafi, users can stake and minimize the risks regarding staking at the same time. Initially launched in 2018, Stafi has been quiet until 2020 where they start to focus on marketing and community engagement. Stafi was founded by Liam Young and Tore Zhang.
