Since the beginning of this year, Crypto.com has been expanding through quality partnerships in the sports and gaming industry. The exchange has added another milestone as it closed its first esports partnership some days back.
Crypto.com closed a partnership with Fnatic. The parties disclosed that the consideration of the partnership was over $15 million. Thus, Crypto.com has become the Global Cryptocurrency Partner of Fnatic.
Fnatic is a London-based brand that provides esports performance. Although it started in London, the brand has branches in several other countries at the moment. It is a successful esport brand in the gaming industry, especially by the most Gen Z and Millennials.
The contractual collaboration between these parties will enable Crypto.com to feature its logo on the collarbone of Fnatic players. In addition, Crypto.com will offer crypto education to the fans of Fnatic.
“As cryptocurrency becomes a mainstream payment method, there’s never been a better time to help our fans make smarter, healthier and future-proof cryptocurrency decisions,” says Sam Matthew, the CEO of Fnatic.
When the CEO of Crypto.com, Kris Marszalek, was interviewed about this fresh partnership and what he expects, he says:
“We’re really excited to launch a fully integrated partnership with Fnatic, which marks a milestone for our industry. With more than 200 championships, their team has excelled in-game and out, and rightfully established itself as the leading team in esports.”
According to the release, both Crypto.com and Fnatic might most likely mint NFTs in the future for their fanbase. Not only that, but numerous award programs. However, the parties didn’t comment about the specific time.
